With a background in theatrical lighting and live event production, Colton saw firsthand how thoughtful design can transform a space and shape the way people experience a moment. From the smallest details to large-scale productions, the goal has always been the same: create environments that feel intentional, immersive, and memorable.
Colton Stovall Design began with a simple idea: production should do more than fill a technical need; it should help tell a story.
What started as a passion for lighting design grew into a broader approach to event production. Partnering with clients, planners, and venues to bring creative ideas to life while managing the technical details behind the scenes.
Today, Colton Stovall Design brings creative vision and technical expertise together to create intentional lighting and production experiences for weddings, events, and beyond. Every project starts with understanding the vision and creating something uniquely its own.

Colton Stovall
Colton Stovall is a production manager and lighting designer passionate about creating intentional, memorable experiences through live events and technical production.
Colton earned his BFA in Production Design, with a concentration in Lighting Design, from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he built a strong foundation in lighting, storytelling, and the technical execution behind live experiences. Throughout his career, he has worked across a wide range of productions including theatre, concerts, festivals, corporate events, and weddings.
With experience managing productions from concept through execution, Colton combines creative design with practical production management to help bring ideas to life. Whether designing an atmosphere through lighting, coordinating technical teams, or managing the details behind a complex event, his approach is centered around creating seamless experiences for both clients and guests.
Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Colton works throughout the Southeast, bringing creative vision, technical expertise, and production leadership to every project.
